In the 1980s, the company began construction of the Atrium door patio doors of the timber. They designed a door to do his best to put a large pane of glass in the door. Soon after, any similar type of gate starting gate is called an atrium, as Q-tips became the name for cotton swabs.

To make things even more difficult for owners of Atrium door, the door of the company stopped producing Atrium door the original court and now they do not honor any of the securities in the door of his old style.

Therefore, it has become owner of the cargo door to find replacement locks for the court gate. If you own Atrium door, are not alone in the search. Atrium built a big door with the big team.

It is unfortunate that now when the Atrium door hardware is finally starting to let the manufacturers of their parts are hard to find. But they are out there. Everything from the 2 inch backset lock handleset to multipoint Fuhr available. It just takes a little work to find.

New cupboard hinge screw holes 2mm off?

I'm painting my kitchen cupboards, and would like to replace the hardware. After extensive research, I've found that manufacturer of the old hinge hardware (Amerock) makes the exact same hinge but the the screw holes on the cupboard doors are off by 1-2 mm. Should I wood putty the old holes and drill in new ones that will overlap the old holes? (so essentially, the two holes combined form an oval shape).
Will wood putty be sufficient to hold? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

On kitchen cabinet repaints and hardware changeovers I have always found its best to fill the original holes. Then, offset the hinge location by 1/4 - 1/2 inch so you are setting the hinges in fresh wood. This only works of course if you are not using european style hinges. (The ones with the round hole in the door that the hardware fits into.)
