I paid U.S. $ 1700 for an antique desk. I found the desk was not a reproduction of a real antique. I asked for my money the owner said he believed the table for a real old when you bought for your inventory. What legal theories could use to gain if I go to court to get my resolution of the contract?

I think it's an AS is the sale unless the paperwork states it is authentic. If the contract provides for small claims court is your best option. You could go on Judge Judy.
