When you're inspecting a door, which detail of it do you notice first? Most people would say it's the knob. This goes for any door, let it be regular one or a cabinet one. Installing matching knobs on your cabinet doors is usually the last step taken when it comes to sprucing up the cabinetry. Due to that, many industries today have taken it upon themselves to deliver stylish, quality doorknobs, and have developed a multitude of different designs and materials such as classic, square, metal and crystal doorknobs.

Just remember that if you opt for an appearance oriented material, it will require more maintenance and dedication on your part to keep them clean and in good condition than it will for materials such as wood or metal.
Most importantly, when making your purchase, imagine what the doorknob will look in it's new environment, on it's new cabinetry, and make sure that it will fit in there style wise, because if not, you'll end up making it stick out like a sore thumb.
