Canada is different to the U.S. when it comes to gun violence?
Okay, I have a project and need help, my task is to show a "judge" that Canada is different to the U.S. when it comes to shooting guns Fire and Keepings, my theme is security. how many people think they are safe in the U.S., the survey (and also in Canada), many people carry their weapons in their homes, their pockets. What to do to keep safe (Get locks, double doors, closed doors,) and so on. . you can find any information please! I'm also trying Thankyouuu. Have you seen the documentary "Bowling for Columbine"? In it, Michael Moore, interviews the then president of the NRA, Charlton Heston. The main question Moore asks Heston is why gun violence is so much lower in Canada, where gun ownership is virtually the same. Now Moore pushes Heston, who really do not want to answer, and finally comes out with half-hearted comment a bit racist. Anyway, they reference the fact several studies have shown that violence is much lower in Canada - do a little research and I bet you were studies. As to why, my own theory is anonymity. In the U.S., we feel less connected to our neighbors, our fellow citizens. Canada is more sparsely populated. There are more of a sense of community. Just my $ .02 worth.
