Kitchen Cabinet Door Handles

Fixtures - door / cabinet handles, curtain rods - need not be the same color / metal?

We are installing of lighting in our kitchen cabinet. We have dark brown cabinets and my husband bought some dark brown accessories for them. I think they are confused and should not go together, but he says they should, because our fans and curtain rods (also in the kitchen) are the same color. Thoughts? What about games throughout the house, where all parties?

It's personal. Some like to match everything. Not me. However, I like things to look good, not chaotic. But that is subjective. You only need to compromise or thank your lucky stars that her husband has a creative eye.
