It is cut-out to fit over your existing baseboard and sits flush to the wall. This cabinet was designed for comfort and ultimate functionality w/ a handy shelf, pull-out iron rest & 4 different height adjustments. The sliding cabinet door stays out of the way while ironing. Place it where it is most convenient for you to do your ironing. Available in white as well as unstained natural to finish it to match your particular decor!Note the Pictures in Sequence: (1) The ironing center when it is installed and in use. (2) What the board looks like when it is stored in the solid wood cabinet. Slide open the door (slides to the left only) to access your ironing board. You need 36 inches of wall space for the cabinet and the slide open door. (3) Once you slide open the cabinet, a lever opens up the board. (4) You have 4 adjustable height options.
