As already mentioned earlier an array of various sizes and shapes of cabinet hardware is available, and thus, one should always be careful while selecting the right size. A smaller cabinet knob will make it difficult for you to hold it and open the cabinet door, while a larger size will make an odd appearance. Thus, it is always advisable to be aware of the right size of the cabinet hardware for your cabinets. Normally, the cabinets use cabinet hardware measuring in size between 1 ¼ inches to 1 ¾ inches. While the smaller measuring cabinet knobs can be installed in small cabinets usually found in the kitchen and bathroom, the larger ones are used in big framed bedroom closets.
The installation of the cabinet pull, knob or handle is an easy task. One does not require any technical knowledge, professional guidance, precision or sophisticated tools. The usual basic tools like a screwdriver, a simple bolt and a nut will suffice. There is no need to drill holes for the screw, as it may already be present there. After the screw has been tightened and bolted the extra protruding portion of it can be hacked with the help of a bolt trimmer or a hacksaw.
