Top quality item. Heavy gauge steel - much stronger than photo depicts. My husband and I were impressed. Easy to install, though my spouse is pretty handy. The slide mechanism and tracks are smooth very sturdy. I will buy other Whitney products.

I ordered these for my pots and pans cabinet and they have made a HUGE difference in accessability! They are heavy, very sturdy, roll very smoothly and also very easy to install. I know these will be with me for years to come. The full-extension is great and they are able to accomidate the many skillets and saucepans that I use reguarly. Amazon's price is about the same if not less that others, but with the free shipping you can't beat it!

Broken plastic pieces

I purchased 2 of the 24 drawer cabinets from one supplier and a 44 drawer cabinet from a second supplier. (The first supplier did not offer the 44 drawer model.) All three cabinets arrived with broken tabs laying in the bottom of the box. (These are the tabs that keep the drawers from falling out.) In addition, one of the UNBREAKABLE plastic drawers was cracked. I called one of the suppliers, (Wasserstrom), and they sent me a replacement cabinet. The problem was that it was worse than the others. Nearly half of the plastic tabs were broken. This is not a shipping or handling problem. The problem is that the process of installing the individual drawers at the factory is damaging the frame during assembly. This is a poor quality product. I found a better choice at Lowe's. They carry a line of plastic drawer cabinets that are much better, and made in the USA too!! They have a 9 drawer cabinet that has the same size drawers as Akro-Mills and is stackable. They are much more robust in design and cost about the same ($1.22 per drawer vs. $1.17) as the Akro-Mills products.

Got the Akro 10724 24 Drawer Cabinet a Couple Day's ago.Recieved in Perfect Condition, No Crack's, in Pristene Condition.I needed this in My Garage Shop to hold, Different Nut's, Bolt's,, and other small Item's. I allready had 2 smaller Parts Drawer Cabinet's that were Full to the Brim,, and I was allready starting to put other thing's anywhere that I could on the Garage Shelve's,, so I needed something bad.Took it out of the Box,, nothing to set up,, Drawer's allready ready to be Filled. Took about 5 minutes to make a place for the New Parts cabinet on a Shelf.Allready Filled about a 1/3 of the Drawer's,, and it is just perfect for My Garage/Shop.Price was a little bit on the High Side,, I thought,, and only wish,, that I had more money to have gotten 2 more!!!!Great Product that helps me keep my Small Item's Organized, Joe

These are plastic drawers in a plastic housing, so it's obviously not going to be the most sturdy assembly in the world. With that in mind, it is perfect for organizing small items. I use mine for nails, nuts, bolts, etc. in my garage. But it could also be used for arts and crafts, or whatever else. It might not be as sturdy or rugged as the solid metal constructions, but it still gets the job done - for a lot less money.

this is a really good substitute for those really expensive pull outs. I don't think it would be strong enough for heavy appliances but very sturdy with about 15 lbs of cleaning products. I love it!

An important consideration missing

For me, it is important to know the height of this item. Closetmaid seems to list only the width of their items with no consideration for height or depth.Can someone tell me how tall this item is? I would like to use it under a sink and need to know if it will clear the pipes.Since I have not ordered this product, I cannot rate it properly so can only give it one star.Thank you.

EXCELLENT price for this item from [...] and free shipping and no tax to boot! I bought several of the 11" and 14" 2-tier organizers from Amazon when I saw their price (the local home improvement centers charge much more for the same exact item). I was able to install them in all my cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms for a fraction of the cost had I gone to the local store. I had been wanting to add more, (I had previously bought a few and installed them but the cost had been a deterrent). They are relatively easy to install using a cordless drill, the hardest part being the 'placement'-making sure the drawers clear hinges, etc. when being pulled out. I now can store twice as much as I could in the same amount of space and FIND what I'm looking for! It is a pleasure to open the cabinet doors and find everything in order! I would highly recommend them to any 'neat freak' such as myself!

Very bright, may be hard to install

Bought these to replace halogen puck lights as previous lights were too hot.First thing is the price is great. Most LEDs were 60+ in the store and less versatile.The light output is great. Not as bright as 6 halogen pucks (or even 3 of them) but plenty of enough light for our purpose (lighting under a loft for a desk).Mounting: Each of the pucks has double sided tape already attached. However, it does not seem to be thick enough to stick to anything as the metal ring around the light is too tall. The package contained 3 more doubled sided tape/foam which I put on top of the 1st piece of tape. I also chose to use the mounting screws. Getting the metal rings off the lights was very very hard. It is very snug and you don't get much room to work with. Having someone with strong nails would help.The wire on the pucks was just long enough for our purpose, but maybe too short for others. Maybe around 1.5-2ft long.Switch works well.Overall good buy.

Perfect teacher desk organizer

I used this drawer cabinet in my classroom to hold supplies like paper clips, staples, etc. it works wonderfully. I saw another teacher a few years ago do something similar, and I decided it would be a good tool for me to use as well. My desk is much more organized than in the past and the clear drawers are very useful to see through to what is inside at a glance. It is sturdy and even came with dividers if I decided to separate the drawers into smaller ones at a later date.

I am using this to organize my random collection of nuts, bolts, screws and other stuff that ended up piling up in a drawer near my work bench. It took some time to organize, but with a label maker and a few hours each night, I was able to clean everything up and then hang this at the bottom of my peg board. I am ready to order my second for future items.

Good organizer for the price

For those who were wondering: the actual product dimensions are 20"x15"x6.25".I bought this to organize my screws and such in the garage. It is great in that it has a lot of drawers and comes with some dividers (for both the large and small drawers-- I'm not sure why another reviewer said there weren't large dividers). There aren't many dividers, though, so if you anticipate needing lots you'll have to buy some.The whole box is made of medium duty plastic, which is what I expected for the price. However, I gave it four stars rather than five because it isn't very well designed for free standing use. The dividers make up most of the back, so if you remove them you lose structural integrity and, I imagine, will have a bowed frame in no time if you put anything weighty in it. I plan to hang it on the wall, which I think will help to prevent bowing, but I'll be sure to update after it's been up for a while!

good item for the money

Organizer is perfect for my large jewelry collection. Clear drawers allow me to see everything. Comes with hardware to hang, but I would suggest buying something more heavy duty at the store. Good buy for low cost.

We have been ready to replace our oak kitchen cabinets (hate the oak!). My husband picked up some Parker and Baileys cream, and we gave it a try. It's difficult to describe but the cabinets took on a whole new life! They are a deeper color now with a beautifu sheen. Easy to use and really only need to renew every few months. I now think maybe I can live with the oak and just replace my counters. Three cheers for Parker and Baileys! This is one of the products that I feel I need to stock up on!

solid design

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because they went cheap on the double sided tape. I have mine on the inside of my cabinet doors and can't use screws. After it fell off twice because of the tape I picked up some good tape and now it's fine. The product itself is great and needed in every kitchen these days.

Streamlined Solution

We all want a way to use and store those bags, but we don't want it to be a mess. This looks great and is really well put together too. It doesn't hold a huge amount of bags - but I think it's enough for what we need and a great value for the price. I would suggest using the screws instead of the adhesive backing. This kind of holder will get a lot of use and the screws will help it to stay where you want it. :o)

Looks nice, falls down

I love the way it looks and how it organizes under the counter but it keeps falling down. I used the sticky strip and for some reason it keeps falling down. I cleaned it before hand and it stayed up for a while but now it keeps falling down. Other than that, it is nice but the point is to have it attached to the cabinet door.

We have purchased and installed many Closetmaid organizer drawers in our kitchen and laundry. They are consistently high quality and easy to install. Just line up, pre-drill four holes and screw in the wood screws. One thing you might find confusing is that the base frames are not always four-square. This means if you line up the front parallel to the front of the cabinet, the n line up the side parallel to the side, you may find the front off. Just line it up whatever way looks and fits best and install. As long as they drawer slides smoothly in the base (always true), then you will be fine.

does what I needed it to do

wanted backround light for my cabinet that houses my receiver. This does the job well. Had now for a week,simple little light really shows off my receiver. Cabinet illuminated provides just a touch of light in dark room enjoying home theater.

Are you kidding I know it's only a few bucks but the extreamly poor quality is beyond what I would call cheap! Tried to mount the damn thing with the screws they provided -- Ha, all 4 snapped in half when trying to screw them in, I even drilled pilot holes. Honestly I am getting really tired of the "Made in China" thing. Can't these companies spend a penny per 10,000 screws and get something a little better than diecast.I give this company a -1 on a whole for quality!!! I will never buy another one of their products. I could do a better job with tinfoil and duct tape.

under cabinet light

I have a roll up desk and there is not a lot of room for a light so I installed this under cabinet light. It is great except there can be a extreme glare on paper that is lying flat on the desk top, making it difficult to read.
