my mother hates antiques! is unusual for a person who has many relatives in the antiques business. during the 70s our house became something else. wooden floors covered with carpets and plush orange couches brought Italians, with tables covered with slate .. faux leather chairs and a wood kidney shaped a glass coffee table which was then a cocktail table ... it was great .. still wanted our home and our neighbor with colonial furniture .. eating in banks with bronze chandelier colonial ... I now live with my mother to assist her and tried to sneak a few pieces so nice .... no! mom.i says wants to end the Brady Bunch look ... I'm more into Ethan Allen and my mother is back in the .. 70, with costumes bell bottom pants hanging in your closet ... i antiquities love .. would not you?
I enjoy some old furniture, but can not afford good quality pieces. At this point, I feel I'm living in a museum.
