What's wrong with my lock on my door? Key? What I can do?
I'm having trouble pushing my key all the way in the keyhole. Once you enter, I can easily turn the key and enter key is not bent. The lock is a deadbolt type of mark on the cylinder, but on the plate (front plate?), The bolt and what comes out when you turn the door handle is the word "Schlage". What's going on here? Is there anything I can do for myself without putting a lock smith. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Want lubricated with dry graphite, no fluid such as WD-40 or silicone spray. Spray some dry graphite into the lock and press the input and output a couple of times to get lubricated. This should work for you.
